Before Royal Express came to be, the founder and owner started off as a mechanic, driver, salesman and bookkeeper.  He owned and operated a Logistics Franchise in Laredo in the late 1990’s.  During this period he developed key relationships with Customers and Banks that paid off down the road.

Royal Express was founded in 1999 and shortly after it financed its first 10 Trucks and 20 Trailers.  The first years came with many challenges and setbacks. It was thanks to a strong work ethic and swiss-army knife attitude in handling all aspects of the business that the founder carried the company across the first 5-year hurdle.

In the next years, the company hired key personnel and established key relationships with customers that drove growth and doubled the fleet. In spite of the downturn in the economy that took a toll on many small businesses, drive, energy and customer service pushed the company across the next 5 years.

Over time, personalized customer service and dependability, technology, state-of-the-art facilities coupled with a tailwind from a favorable economy fueled an exponential growth that has positioned Royal as one of the Transportation Service leaders in the local market.

Royal Express in reaching its 20-year anniversary in 2019 and has earned this badge of honor thanks to the dedication of its people the relentless pursuit of exceptional customer service and a deep commitment from its employees.
